Oilers vs. Sabres Prediction: Monday, March 10th

At this point in the season, it's rather well known that the Sabres and Oilers aren’t much for playing defense and that’s what I intend to exploit on the NHL best bets today! The Sabres on home ice this season have gone over in 21 games out of 31 and that’s the highest rate in the NHL heading into tonight. 

On top of that they allow 3.44 goals per game, the 3rd most in the league! Add Connor McDavid and the Oilers offense into the equation and it's easy to see why the goals could pile up quickly. On the Oilers side of things, they are grasping at straws on defense as well with injuries and poor goaltending play overall. 

On the season, they only allow 3 goals per game on the road but lately they’ve given up 22 goals in the last 5 road games. Edmonton has also hit the over at a record of 16-13-1 away from home this season. Let’s not overthink anything and smash this over for our NHL best bets today.
