The Halloween night spotlight is on the last of the four-game slate today, as the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers play in the Intuit Dome tonight. The Spread is four points in favor of the Suns, but the money line is at -180 for Phoenix… not terrible odds.

The total is at 221 and with such great scorers that seems off. This is the second time they have played each other this season, and both teams should be in a better rhythm.

Phoenix Suns: Raising Arizona

The Suns look like a complete team, capable of scoring against any defensive lineup. If one of their several scorers are in a rhythm, they can carry their team to a victory. The 4-1 offensive approach to the season is successful thus far, and they are currently the third best team in the Western Conference.

It’s difficult to know which of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, or Bradley Beal is going to have a great offensive game. Which makes betting on their player props a bit difficult, but a game’s projected point total always seems in reach, as does the team total of 112.5 points today.

Los Angeles Clippers: House Party

The Clippers have seen zero Kid’N Play in the Intuit Dome as they are still seeking their first win. Should the Suns win this game, Phoenix would have two wins at Intuit Dome before the Clippers have one… not an ideal start to a house party.

The Clippers have a real chance to have their first win at what is truly their venue. It will come at some point this season, and an upset tonight sems in place for the home team. However, today’s bets are prop bets on the Clippers.

Suns vs. Clippers Predictions & Picks Today: Thursday, October 31st

Zubac O10.5 Rebounds (-115 on BetMGM) & Harden O9.5 Assists (-110 on DraftKings)

This is the best start of Ivica Zubac’s career. Perhaps it is because Kawhi Leonard has been injured, perhaps it’s his rotation minutes with Jason Plumlee, but Zubac is currently one of the best rebounders in the league. He has an average of 13.5 per game and the only game he did not earn 11 or more rebounds was against the same team he is playing today.

The Phoenix Suns had an initial lead on the Clippers and James Harden did his best to get them back in the game. Zubac became less of a factor due to this, but the results should be better tonight.

The Suns are a top ten defensive rebounding team, allowing only 52.5 per game, but Zubac has been playing well over the last three games, and should get his average tonight. The prediction is for him to have a better game this time against the Suns. He should play around 35 minutes which breaks down to 1 rebound every three minutes of gametime.

James Harden has 10 or more assists in every game of the season except the season opener against the Suns. He attempted 28 field goals that game, 9 more than any other game this season. He should look to pass first tonight, which will help this bet.

He has a good rhythm going with Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac that allows him to expose front courts. He has crisp passes and is oftentimes guarded by others team's best defensive player. Look for him to earn 10 or more assists tonight against the Suns.
