An epic NBA Cup game is set to take place in the last match of the night. The Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns are already rivals without the intensity of the NBA Cup.

West Group B is still open for every team, and the Suns can change their fate with a much-needed win.

Los Angeles Lakers: Squabble up

The Los Angeles Lakers have yet to lose an NBA Cup match since its inception. A collective 9-0, playing against one of their rivals to go 10-0 and put a little bit of distance in West Group B.  These games have a great deal of importance to LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the Laker organization as a whole.

The Lakers are currently 10-6 and in fourth place in the Western Conference. They happen to be on a two-game losing skid and are looking to both end a losing streak while maintaining a perfect NBA Cup record. They will be playing with intensity.

Phoenix Suns: Little Lies

The Phoenix Suns started the season with a 9-2 record, before losing Kevin Durant due to injury. They then went on to lose five games in a row, and are still seeking their first win in almost two weeks.

They still maintain a positive record, but 9-7 is only good enough for eighth place in the Western Conference. They are 1-1 in NBA Cup play this season and could still win the group. They are reportedly getting both Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal back tonight which will be a huge lift to their team. Look for Phoenix to come out hot in this game.

Lakers vs. Suns Predictions & Picks Today: Tuesday, 11/26

There are several questions in this game with the return of Kevin Durant and Bradey Beal.

Although Anthony Davis is listed as questionable, we trust him more than any other player in this game. Our pick of the night reflects this belief.

Lakers vs. Suns Prediction: Anthony Davis Over 27.5 Points (-125 on BetMGM)

Anthony Davis dominates Jusuf Nurkic in a similar manner that Nikola Jokic dominates him (and Nurkic for that matter). Davis has massive points against the Phoenix Suns due to his offensive advantage against the Phoenix Suns, and a big scoring game should happen tonight.

He only scored 14 points in 35 minutes in his most recent game, but once again that was against Jokic. In the previous four games prior to the Nuggets, he scored; 39, 26, 31, 40. He also played 34 or more minutes in each of those games. So, despite the day-to-day designation, he should play around 35 minutes again.

Davis is averaging 30.1 points per game this season and doesn’t even need his average against a team he scores well over his average against. Davis also has put forth great NBA Cup performances going back to last year. Put a unit down on the big man to do what he does best, score against the Suns.
