Suns vs. Warriors Predictions for NBA on ESPN, 1/31
While fanbases of the Suns and Warriors expect this to be a potential Western Conference Finals preview given the superstars on each team, the fact remains that these are two teams currently just trying to avoid falling out of the Play-In Tournament spots. Of the two, it’s the Suns that have been performing better as of late.
Phoenix is 7-3 over their last 10 games, despite losing on Tuesday night to the Minnesota Timberwolves. With the Warriors coming off a huge win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, it’s no surprise to see the Suns vs. Warriors odds having this game at nearly a pick ‘em. That had us considering a player prop market for the focus of our Suns vs. Warriors predictions, but we’re going to stick with the standard lines for our best bet coming up.
Phoenix Suns: Booker, Beal & Butler
For a bit of foreshadowing, we’re going to be focusing on the Suns side of the matchup for our best bet, so to add another storyline outside of that, we recently saw the NBA All-Star teams announced. With that comes fans and analysts alike becoming outspoken about the snubs and those that aren’t deserving.
In that regard, Phoenix’ Devin Booker was one that was left off the roster, much to the dismay of those in Arizona. At least it gives fans something else to focus on outside of the potential acquisition of Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat and how Bradley Beal is trying to keep himself in control of that trade possibility.
Golden State Warriors: Dominance Dwindling?
The Warriors seem to have storylines of their own on a daily basis, even in the midst of the height of the NFL season and the Super Bowl coming up. Unfortunately for their fans, the most recent of theirs has been all about injuries.
That continues tonight, as we already know that Draymond Green will be out with a calf strain, and there are even question marks surrounding the health of Steph Curry. With Klay Thompson no longer in town, the original core trio could all be off the court tonight for a game that could drop them to a .500 record.

Suns vs. Warriors Best Bet: Phoenix Money Line (-122 at DraftKings)
We promised to keep things nice and simple with the best bet from our Suns vs. Warriors predictions and stick with the standard lines, and perhaps nothing is more straightforward than a money line pick. This is a night in which we’re taking the road team to come away with a victory.
It’s not quite Kevin Durant returning to Oracle Arena for more revenge, but inside Chase Center tonight, we’re expecting him to light things up. The only concern for the prolific scorer in recent seasons has been injuries, but he hasn’t missed a game in quite some time now, and is coming off yet another 30+ point night.
Although that was in a loss, he’s nearly always helped the Suns get past his former team. Over their last five matchups, Phoenix is an impressive 4-1 against the spread against Golden State. That includes both of their matchups earlier this season, and with a close 1.5-point spread for tonight, we’re willing to pay the little extra for the money line.
Even with them covering the spread the past two meetings, the most recent was still decided by just four points, so we’d rather not sweat out a buzzer-beating win or the garbage time foul shots ruining tonight’s spread. If you’d rather avoid needing to back a winner at all, it’s worth noting that the under has hit three straight times between these teams.
Regardless, we have confidence in a much healthier Phoenix squad, making the best bet from our Suns vs. Warriors picks on their money line (-122 at DraftKings Sportsbook).
Suns vs. Warriors Injury Report & Latest News
When it comes to injury news and updates, they are unfortunately the bane of the Warriors tonight, as the known absence of Draymond Green and potential absence of Steph Curry are massive.
As for Phoenix, they are clean across the board! It’s just another reason to confirm our Suns vs. Warriors predictions being focused on a Phoenix victory.
