The second match on TNT features a team on a roll, versus the one of the worst teams in the Association.

In what is supposed to be a matchup between the best big men, once again turns out to be another missed game for Joel Embiid

Philadelphia 76ers: What Goes Up Must Come Down

Embiid has not played in Denver since 2019, that is zero appearances this decade. Embiid and Jokic finished #1 and #2 in MVP voting for three consecutive years, but Embiid has not been able to give Nuggets fans a good match. It’s like two heavyweight champions, and one keeps dodging the match with the other.

The Philadelphia 76ers have a long way to go for any relevance this season. They aren’t going to even pretend to care about trying this game with several players out. It is discouraging to see the 76ers have such difficulty in getting the bare minimum out of their leader. With that as an example everyone else can simply fall in line for mediocracy.

Denver Nuggets: Rocky Mountain Way

The Denver Nuggets are one of the hottest teams in the NBA, they have won two in a row, and six of their last seven games.

They are climbing up the Western Conference rankings and have a team capable of winning it all. But for now, they focus on getting one game closer to the Oklahoma City Thunder by winning today.

Wizards vs Nuggets Predictions & Picks Today: Tuesday 1/21

Basketball arenas used to be nasty places that fans really gave the opposing team grief. Be it verbally, be it with loud distractions, or the energy of the place affecting the game.

Denver is still a nasty crowd, and ‘WHERE’S EM-BIID AT?!?! Will once again be in the air.

76ers vs. Nuggets Prediction: Denver -9.5, Braun O11.5 Points, Porter Jr. O5.5 Rebounds (+395 SGP Boosted to +525 on DraftKings)

Draftkings has a promotion for the NBA’s ‘Rivalry Week’ and tonight’s match between the Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets has a 33% parlay boost. This bet qualifies for the boost and gives us wonderful odds for a teased down spread, and two player props.

The spread has been teased down from 11.5 to 9.5, as the expectation is for the Nuggets to cover the spread. As great as the sportsbooks have been lately we will tease down one field goal to cover any Tom Foolery.

Christian Braun is averaging 13.8 points per game and for some reason has a line of 11.5. This has standalone value at plus odds but gives the parlay a substantial boost. Michael Porter Jr. is a seven-foot forward who should have a good night against the frontcourt backups of the 76ers. He is averaging 6.5 rebounds per game and should easily cover the 5.5 line set for him.

Put it together and it’s a parlay with +395 odds, boosted to +525 by Draftkings. There is a $25.00 max wager, but wagering the max earns $156.25 in return. Not a bad ROI, especially for two players to hit their average and a teased down cover. If you want to put more, you can always re-use the selection without the boost.
