Predators vs. Maple Leafs Prediction: Wednesday, December 4th

It is officially panic time in Nashville although many are already at that point, and I don’t blame them one bit! At 7-12-6 this season has been a disaster for all involved in Predators hockey especially after all the big additions in the offseason. 

Can it be fixed? I am not sure but it’s not getting remedied tonight against a Toronto team that is 11-3 on home ice and has Auston Matthews back in the lineup for a few games now! Beyond just Matthews being back the Maple Leafs have been a wagon this season and are coming into tonight winners of 8 games over the last 10 and have held opposing teams to just 24 goals over that stretch for 2.4 goals against per game! 

The defense-first approach is working and it's working well and against a Nashville team that scores only 1.83 goals per game on the road this one shouldn’t be close so give me the Maple Leafs on the 60-minute line tonight!
