Capitals vs. Panthers Prediction: Monday, November 25th

This regression for the Capitals may have been due but losing their captain in Alex Ovechkin certainly started the slide that I expect will continue into tonight’s game against the Panthers. 

Washington since Ovi went down are 0-2-0 with just 3 goals scored over those 2 games played and they played awful defenses and couldn’t solve the puzzle. Tonight, they get a juggernaut of a Florida team that is 6-4-1 at home and is looking to get back on track after 3 straight losses. Great teams don’t continue losing streaks and I believe in the Panthers. 

When it comes to betting this game though it's hard to like the Money Line as it's so chalked up in favor of the home team. The Puck Line is also risky with the Panthers being 10-11 against the spread this season so why don’t we go right down the middle and wager on the Panthers to win in regulation on the 60-minute Money Line. 

 

 

 

Golden Knights vs. Flyers Prediction: Monday, November 25th

Could be playing with fire here given the way the Golden Knights play on the road but when there is value to be had you must not ignore it! Vegas is by far the superior team in this matchup with their +17-goal differential and their roster just being deeper in every way. The Flyers aren’t great on home ice either as they are 5-6-0 on the season and are 3-8 against the spread. 

The classic ideas of wagering always give the east coast team and bump at home against the west coast visitor, but I think that’s an overstep in this game. The Flyers are 28th in expected goals for per game and this Vegas team put up plenty of goals to outpace them at 3.86 goals scored per game. Give me the Golden Knights to roll in this game on the Puck Line at plus money!
