Nuggets vs. Pelicans Predictions, Picks & Odds: NBA Friday, 11/15
The West C Group of the Emirates NBA Cup is unbelievably competitive. The defending Western Conference champions, the Dallas Mavericks are joined by; Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies, and New Orleans Pelicans.
Of that group only the Pelicans have a losing record, and that is due to their terrible injury woes this season. Despite that, they are only 4-point underdogs at home in the Smoothie King Center against the Denver Nuggets today.
Denver Nuggets: The Man In The Middle
The Denver Nuggets are on a 5-game winning streak and are one of the best scoring teams in the NBA. Their 120.9 points per game is third in the Western Conference, behind only fellow Group C opponents the Warriors (121.2) and Grizzlies (121.1). However, they are not closing out spreads as well as they should and are 4-6 against the spread.
They have had a mini break this week, as their last game was Monday against the Dallas Mavericks. After tonight they have two games at Memphis as they continue the Group C road tour. The team should be well rested, and able to catch their breath after the first ten games of the season.
They go as their leader and three-time MVP, Nikola Jokic go, but more on him later.
New Orleans Pelicans: Bordeaux In My Pirough
There are many great things about the city of New Orleans, but the Pelicans are not one of them, at least not this year. They are currently last in the Western Conference, and have several starters out of the lineup.
They still have great players to help overcome a mountain of injuries, but they are playing deeper minutes and exposing themselves defensively. The spread is only 4 points and it is expected to be a close, and competitive NBA Cup match. For that to happen they will need to keep up with the Nuggets scoring.

Nuggets vs. Pelicans Predictions & Picks Today: Friday, 11/15
There is one player that is playing more minutes, with more effort, and leads the Association in several stats. His name is Nikola Jokic.
Today’s pick is a Same Game Parlay that is heavily reliant on the best player in the world.
Same Game Parlay: Denver ML, Jokic O28.5 Points & O13.5 Rebounds (BOOSTED to +578 on DraftKings)
There is a boost on Tuesday and Friday’s (group stage games) for the NBA Cup via DraftKings. One of those boosts is for a same game parlay. Every individual odd must be over -500 and there must be three or more folds. There is also a $20.00 minimum.
This bet is at +385 if you do not have DraftKings, and is still worth a wager. The Denver Nuggets money line meets the suggested minimum requirements of -250, currently at -198. The individual props added to it are not teased down and require the big man to have another outstanding game.
That is what MVPs do though. He has had almost a full week of rest to recover and is matched up against a rookie center Yves Missi or a slow Daniel Theis. His assists have been really high but to be safe only two over wagers on his propositions are recommended.
He leads the league in both rebounds and assists, a rare feat for a center, but also has the fifth highest points per game total. He is averaging 29.7 points per game, and this bet needs him to score at or just below his average to be successful.
Trust the reigning MVP to do his part and help deliver a Group C victory. A $20 wager returns $135.60.
